Farm Collective Wine

2013 Contra Costa County Carignane

2013 Contra Costa County Carignane

The Evangelho Vineyard is one of the most special vineyards on the planet, and there are few superlatives that truly pay it justice. Situated between a Burger King and a PG&E plant, acres of beachy sand are speckled with with 140-year-old, head-trained Carignane vines. These little bushes thrive here, creating supple, flavorful grapes year after year.

It’s hard to imagine a more tempting wine than our inaugural 2013 vintage of Carignane. A stunning ruby red color in the glass, this wine flirtatiously bubbles with floral and blueberry notes. On the palate, expect a jazzy-smooth and refined wine with blueberry, bright cherry and soft, peppery flavors. We’ll be darned if you can find an easier-drinking wine.

This wine will sell out fast. Don't wait!
