Our 2015 Privado opens up with intoxicating aromas of black cherry, cassis, chai tea, smoked paprika, garam masala, orange rind and subtle notes of vanilla.  On the palate, earthy, plum, currant, chocolate, brown sugar, roasted cashew nuts, unload with complexity and intensity while the bold, yet fine grained tannins build across the palate with a velvety texture and a persistent finish that is in great balance. This wine should age well for the next 7 to 10 years but is approachable now with a one hour decant.
