The Zinfandel Round Up

The Zinfandel Round Up

Zinfandel is what we're best known for. We have put together this set to showcase a Zin from each of our favorite regions outside of Napa - Russian River, Lodi, and Dry Creek. Gift this special three-pack to the Zinfandel lover you know...or keep it for yourself!

2017 Bacigalupi Zinfandel (Russian River Valley) - Blue and black fruits jump out of the glass to instantly grab your attention. Subtle notes of citrus pith scattered with cloves add layers of complexity. The palate leads with hints of blackberry and blueberry and transition to notes of pomegranate. Lively acidity freshens up the wine and carries the finish to a wonderful earthy minerality.

2017 Cherryhouse Zinfandel (Lodi) - Deep notes of black cherry and rose petal meld together and bring a slight lifesaver gummy tinge to the nose. You’ll experience foggy forest floor and fresh pine needles as a secondary note to entice you. On the first sip, ripe, but fresh, you’ll find confident, bold, dark flavors of blackberry, brambleberry, and blackcurrants. Pleasantly weighted with fine-grain tannins, a soft entry builds and leads to a broad, full finish.

2017 LeVois Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley) - Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, nectarines, jasmine, cinnamon and nutmeg bloom out of the glass. Also, you'll think you're carrying a full peach basket –– peaches, peach cobbler, peach blossom –– also a staple in Dry Creek Valley. You'll taste ripe yellow peaches and peach crumble with a hint of vanilla on top along with dried cherry, rosemary, and thyme to complete an elegant finish. This wine is very smooth with a good build-out and good definition. We love the really nice acid and the fresh, savory finish!
