Great purity of fruit unfolds in the glass with cassis, blackberry, anise, allspice, adobo pepper and forest floor aromas. The palate showcases concentrated, ripe, dark fruit, enveloped in great oak spice, hints of vanilla, truffle, leather and nutmeg. The tannins are well integrated and over time layers of creamy, cocoa powder coat the palate and finish with great balance and freshness. This wine should age incredibly well over the next 10-15 year but also has an approachable side with a bit of patience or a brief decanting now.
