2019 Self-Love, Red Wine, California

Love the fuck out of yourself, for yourself.

We’ve all felt it. The loneliness and anxiety. The exhaustion and hopelessness. The inadequacy and shame. Sometimes we don’t even know who we really are. But it’s time to stop beating ourselves up because we are so much more than we think we are.

Healing starts with self-love. What that means will be different for everybody, but ultimately, it’s about developing acceptance and appreciation for who we are in this fucked up world. Maybe that means pursuing emotional or spiritual growth. Maybe it’s putting a stop to making those unfair comparisons and sacrifices for things that don’t matter. Because in the end, the only path to true happiness is through you.

As many of us have been through a lot this past year, we thought it was important to create a wine to raise funding and awareness for mental health as a part of our Tank Cares initiative. We’re donating $1 from every bottle sold to the National Alliance of Mental Illness & Health to help support self-love and mental health.

We’re really stoked about the wine in the bottle too. Last year, we asked Bertus to make us a feel-good red wine and he spent months thinking and experimenting with various blends until we finally had something we truly love.

A California blend of 41% Syrah, 31% Cinsaut, 22% Grenache and 6% Valdiguié, this wine is all about red cherries and black pepper spice. There’s a reason that marriage of flavors is as old as wine itself; because it’s delicious. Completing these notes are these abundant aromas of rose petal and violets and bright juicy flavors of gushing blackberry, chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling, creamy vanilla, and clove. It’s just so lip-smacking good.

Which makes sense considering the fruit sources. We picked Syrah from the Carneros AVA in Napa Valley, then headed up to El Dorado for Cinsaut from our friends at Snows Crossing and got some Grenache from Saureel Vineyards. To complete the blend, we added a dash of Valdiguié from Wilson Farms in Clarksburg. All synthesized together to make our most adorably caring wine since Love Now More Than Ever.

In the spirit of never dreaming alone, we are tremendously proud to share this wine with the world. By ordering this bottle, you’ll get an incredible wine and help raise money and awareness for mental health.

Enjoyed it with family, we loved inhaling its bouquet and it went down so easy! I was sad that it disappeared into our stomachs in mere moments, more than 1 bottle is needed.

This is a great, easy drinking red. The cherry and pepper notes shine. We shared a bottle with my sister, who is very particular about her wine and she loved it too.

As much as I love drinking this wine, I love giving it away even more... it's the gift of fabulous wine and the message is a gift itself.

Is perfect for pairing with a well- planned traditional Italian dish or when the week goes off the rails and you need something to enjoy while the Costco Lasagna cooks! Supports a great cause too

This is perhaps my favorite red for drinking now, and my wife is the red drinker in the family! It is so smooth and flavorful that I love it.
