2020 Chardonnay
This old-vine, Wente Clone Chardonnay is sourced from a hillside vineyard in the Carneros region of Napa Valley. Pure, crisp, and clean in style it offers nice aromas of lemon cake, vanilla, and a kiss of crème brûlée. The beautiful spiced green apple, crisp pear, and white peach flavors on the palate are balanced by its fresh crisp acidity and close with a long round, and mouthwatering finish.

This is one of the top three Chardonnay's that I have had in my life. It takes you on a journey through space and time. The crisp refreshing apple reminds you a fall harvest, the peach reminds me of summer, and the lightness takes you to spring. This Chardonnay has all the complexity of a heavy layered buttery chard, but without the heaviness, butteryness, or coarseness. It is light, airy, and refreshing something you would drink on the veranda. Well done James Cole!
