Backstage Pass, Napa Valley, Red Wine

This wine is sultry and spicy with just a hint of smoke–just like what we imagine it would be like backstage at our favorite concert circa 1981.

Backstage pass is an homage to the days of hazy back-rooms, elaborate spreads, and debauchery. Of when Rock ‘N Roll ruled the world, and that silk-screened pass was your golden ticket to meeting your idol.

We took our favorite lots from the past few vintages to create this brooding masterpiece. The moment this wine hits your palate, it bursts with ripe cherries, licorice, and a hint of blackberry. Each bottle features one of four unique labels from some of the most legendary venues in and around America.

We recently uncorked a bottle of Backstage Pass during one of our podcast episodes and not only did we fall in love with the bottle, we also loved the taste of this rich fruity wine. It's a little sweet and a little spicy, just how we like it!

First time tasting. Medium to full bodied. Lots of blackberries and plums. Licorice on the nose. Will buy again!

"A must try..." Bordeaux blend that marries the Right/Left sides of the river. We were very pleased and order more (nice label of a German rock band in a concert in San Francisco). Give a go wine lovers.

Absolutely incredible!!!! Delicately balanced but powerful Bordeaux blend with lots of energy and perfect expression of Napa cab. Tank is not just one of the same old, cookie-cutter wineries, I felt like I had discovered an amazing Napa Valley secret drinking this with a steak dinner in CT!

Another home run for Tank! This bottle is similar to the outstanding Lords of the Boulevard and All or Nothing blends. Already ordered two more bottles.

I had been stockpiling Tank wine in case there was a shortage, but then decided, life is short ! Enjoy it now! Loved the finish on this wine and subtle berry flavor! Thank goodness they made more!

This is definitely one of my favorites, jammy, fruity, and delicious. It goes great with all chicken, steak and pasta. It’s right up there with the previous Heavy(wish it would come back)! Keep up the great productions

This wine has euphoric rockstar vibes! After one sip, we knew we were gonna need more, so much more! It was juicy, jammy, and balanced- not too tart or dry. As always, I love the labels and the stories behind them.
