There’s no question about it: The Black Sears Vineyard is pretty mind-blowing. Perched at just around 2,400 feet of elevation on Howell Mountain, it’s a sight to be seen. Rich volcanic soil, cool Pacific breeze, and craggy old vines dating back to 1975 make this vineyard THE place to grow hardy Zinfandel.

In this set, you will receive 1 bottle of our first-ever vintage of Black Sears Zinfandel, the 2008. You will also receive 5 bottles of our second-to-last vintage, the 2017. Hold on to these, they are history in the making!

The 2017 vintage is going to remind you, yet again, why you love Zinfandel. With an unmistakably spicy nose, you will immediately conjure up thoughts of delicious cracked black pepper and artisan steak rub.  Velvety and opulent across the palate, this mouthwatering Zinfandel coats the palate with flavors of ripe blackberry, raspberry compote, caramel, butterscotch and a touch of honey.
