A blend of 69% Grüner Veltliner, 13% Riesling, 12% Viognier, and 6% Chenin Blanc, Backseats & Beautiful Mistakes is a hand-on-the-window steamy love letter to life’s happy accidents. It’s clean and refreshing with juicy acidity that SCREAMS, “Give me food!” Try it with Sushi Monkey Napa’s lightly cured and smoked Ora King salmon nigiri sprinkled with Makrut lime salt and wasabi roe. The brisk acid from the wine beautifully contrasts the fattiness from the salmon as the bright citrus notes of the wine unite with the smokiness of the cured fish.

2019 The Benefits of Solitude, Red Wine, California

The Benefits of Solitude Red Wine is comprised of 53% Cinsault, 38% Pinot Noir, 7% Grenache, and 2% Mourvèdre sourced from some of our favorite vineyards in northern California. Harvested in late September and early October, our winemaking team was stoked for the cooler season that allowed for longer hang time and development of complexity at lower alcohols. To allow for gentle extraction and smooth as hell tannin structure, we fermented the Pinot Noir partial whole cluster, lightly pressed the Cinsault and foot stomped the Mourvèdre and Grenache in true Tank fashion. Aged in neutral oak for two years and bottled in mid-December, this is a wine you'll want in your line-up year-round.

Soul Fuel, Red Wine, Napa Valley

Harkening back to our roots, Soul Fuel is a dark, luscious Napa Valley blend that is a complete throwback to wines like All or Nothing. That's right, we're back to big Zinfandel blends and vintage motorcycles, and it feels so good. On the pallet, it's basically a blueberry milkshake with deep flavors of blueberry and raspberry intertwined with mocha, exotic spice, and white pepper. Perfectly integrated tannins and a satisfyingly long finish make this. This is the right stuff to fill you up.
