Contains two bottles each:
2018 Bohdi, Chenin Blanc, Mendocino County, Enlightenment Mountain Vineyard
On the nose, Bohdi exudes a bouquet of honey, jasmine tea, and green apple. As you sip, you’ll revel in notes of vanilla and pineapple with a hint of brown sugar. Bohdi bodes brilliant acidity and clean minerality, the perfect pair for a creamy Main Lovester roll from Sushi Mambo, just down the road from the garage (yes, it does have lobster, shrimp, AND crab topped with a miso dressing). With a bottle of Bohdi, it’s easy to live simply, find your Zen, and enjoy a dose of liquid enlightenment.
2018 Somewhere Out On That Horizon, Red Wine, Mendocino County, Fox Hill Vineyard
This Italian blend brings our old friends Primitivo and Sangiovese back to the table along with a new guest, Negroamaro – a southern Italian grape whose name translates to “black” and “bitter." It gives this wine notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and stout. Primitivo, otherwise known as the alter-ego of Zinfandel, lends flavors of ripe blackberries and blueberries, while the Sangiovese adds great acidity and notes of red fruit.
2019 Marlenas from Reseda, Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
A fun, stylish wine, we blended together 50% Graciano, 44% Syrah, 6% Viognier, and plenty of good vibes, to create a red wine that everybody will dig, just like Marlena. Returning to the Sierra de Montserrat Vineyard in the Sierra Foothills, we're back to work with Graciano. We love the punchy cherry elements of this variety, so we ollie-stomped the fruit before allowing whole-cluster fermentation to do its thing. We gave the same treatment to the Syrah, which we scored from the fabled Snows Crossing Vineyard. Lastly, because we're addicted to it, we cut in some Viognier, a white grape variety, that adds acidity that helps the red juice become the best version of themselves.
