A blend of 33% Petite Sirah, 23% Mourvèdre, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Grenache, 11% Syrah, and 7% Malbec, this wine is all about a dark, powerful core of flavors. The result is equally erotic...and kinky, with glossy black fruit flavors dripping with complexity. Black raspberry, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and blackberry syrup wrap around white pepper, licorice, and (black patent) leather. MDNA is a mixed blacks mashup of 56% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Sirah, 12% Syrah, 5% Carignan, and 2% Malbec from Dry Creek Valley, located in Sonoma County, CA. So what’s it like? It definitely hits different than that sip of sacrament you’d receive at an alter. Deep purple in color, aromas of cinnamon and macerating blackberries and wet rocks entice you with every inhale.
