2014 Dark Science, Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
A wild concoction of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah, our Dark Science is a chemistry experiment gone perfect. We got some gnarly fruit from Amador County, once the epicenter of California viticulture, and turned it over to our mad scientist winemakers to make some of the darkest, jammiest, spiciest wine imaginable.

2017 Lovers, Dreamers, Fighters & Believers Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
This Côtes du Rhône style red blend is made from Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah and a touch of Viognier. It comes to us from grapes grown in the Sierra Foothills. The Syrah lends the rich dark berry flavors as well as plum and earthiness. The Mourvèdre brings a nice structure to the blend along with a nice floral peppery component.  The Grenache in our blend adds nice raspberry notes along with cinnamon spice. Viognier finishes this blend off with a touch of floral and acidity. 

2018 Thundercloud, Red Wine, California 
Syrah/Viognier co-ferment, anyone? You might recognize this killer Côte-Rôtie (Northern Rhône) combo from the über-limited release,  Cool Confusion. Keeping it punk rock, part of that wine still lives on in this blend. Loads of dark fruit, cracked black pepper, and fresh-cut herbs on the nose give way to a rush of blackberry and baking spice laced with dark chocolate and espresso. It's beautifully textured with velvety tannins and a finish that could go on for days.
